Anti-Human Trafficking Awareness
Sambhav TrustWe at Sambhav Trust are on a mission to combat human trafficking in Jharkhand and we believe that the first step towards preventing human trafficking is to raise awareness among citizens. So, we have taken the responsibility to make potential victims/ vulnerable groups especially girls and women aware of human trafficking, explaining to them how to identify and avoid risky situations, and empower them with knowledge about the laws that can be taken by the victim during the crime, to protect themselves. We have adopted both online and offline methods for conducting awareness programs.
Online Webinar
To raise awareness on anti-human trafficking, we have partnered with governmental and non-governmental bodies in Jharkhand. Our recent awareness programs are actively being conducted through webinars in schools, colleges, and universities. Additionally, we are expanding our reach by maintaining a strong virtual presence on social media platforms, aiming to inform and engage a broader audience across and beyond Jharkhand about the dangers of human trafficking and protective measures.
Offline Interactive Sessions
Our offline interactive sessions on anti-human trafficking awareness involve visiting schools, colleges, and universities and conducting meetings to engage students directly. Through interactive dialogues, we provide a comprehensive guide on recognizing risky situations and practical strategies to avoid them. These sessions aim to equip young people with the knowledge and confidence needed to protect themselves and their peers, fostering a safer community and empowering them to take preventive actions against trafficking.
